The light from the sky and the mild climate make the Normandy coast an Autumn delight. From our base just 500 metres from the sea we shall travel along the beach road, visit the famous capital, Bayeux before a tour of the lovely garden at the Château de Brecy. Climbing roses and clematis compliment the formal layout and wonderful statuary of this traditional French garden.

We visit the beautiful harbour at Honfleur which never fails to captivate everyone and Château de Canon, where we will have a tour of the château; here the garden is partly in the Romantic English style and partly concealed within a series of inter-connecting walled garden bursting with late summer flowering perennials.

On our return to Calais we shall visit a garden of upper Normandy, the award winning garden of Valérianes, before joining our ferry home arriving mid-evening.
