A weekend where we can close our eyes, wallow in nostalgia of our favourite sounds of the 40s, or stamp our feet to the rhythm of the Big Band Sound. So as you enjoy a ‘Moonlight Cocktail’ waiting for that ‘Sunrise Serenade’ listening out for ‘A Nightingale Singing in Berkeley Square’, it will be time to say ‘Adios’ and pick up your ‘Little Brown Jug’ and climb the ‘Stairway To The Stars’ after our evening entertainment.

On arrival at our hotel you will be able to spend time at leisure to visit Kings Lynn where nine hundred years of maritime trading history are preserved. Fine houses, medieval churches and guildhalls, secret courtyards and hidden alleys remain to be discovered, a fascinating place.

The next morning we shall visit the world of African violets, wander around the nursery and see the vast display of plants at all stages of growth, and then perhaps be tempted to an early Christmas present at our next venue the Caithness Crystal visitor centre.

On Sunday morning a leisurely departure and making a lunch break in the cathedral city of Ely before arriving home late afternoon.
