Most walking is on level ground although some stiles will have to be negotiated. The pace is gentle so that you have time to enjoy the surroundings. Beware paths can be muddy so bring suitable footwear.

Day 1:    A little gem of a walk explores part of Warwickshire Cotswolds around Long Compton. Starting after lunch from the Red Lion, an old coaching inn, there are outstanding scenes and views. Walk distance 4 miles.


Day 2 & 3:    Walks starting from Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick where there will be time to visit the Castle. Spectacular and scenic with lunch time refreshment stops the walking distance each day 7 miles.


Day 4:   A morning ramble from Stratford-upon-Avon over Shottery Field to the beautiful Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Fine views over the countryside and return to Stratford. Walk distance 5 miles. We shall have time in Stratford before leaving for home, arriving early evening.
