Day 1:   eave your local area then after refreshments commence a lovely walk combining the elegant town of Odiham and the Basingstoke Canal. Distance 4 miles. We shall have time to wander around the ruins of Odiham castle, one of only three strongholds built by King John and the site was chosen because it lay halfway between Windsor and Winchester.


Day 2:   The Solent Way is a splendid walkers route along the Hampshire’s coastline. The full route is from Milford on Sea to Emsworth, some 70 miles. We shall walk just a part starting on the cliff top at Milford on Sea descending to delightful Keyhaven harbour and lunch stop. Optional coast walk to Hurst Castle, built by Henry Vlll.  In the afternoon, we walk along the river banks to the town of Lymington. Distance 7 miles


Day 3:   To the New Forest and an informative walk in a remote park before our lunch stop. Distance 4 miles. Returning home arriving early evening.
