A magnificent stately home, an elegant spa town and a hilltop village on the edge of the Pennines. A weekend of contrasts all set in the spectacular beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.

Day 1:   Departing your local area and with a suitable comfort stop, we make our way to Newark-on-Trent for lunch, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.


Day 2:   Today we travel to Haworth, famous for its connection with the Bronte sisters, we will visit the Parsonage Museum where the sisters grew up and wrote most of their novels, then a scenic tour to Ilkley situated in lower Wharfedale.


Day 3:   A short drive this morning will take us to Harewood House, ‘a St Petersburgh palace on a Yorkshire hill’. Built in the mid 18th century, it reflects the changing tastes and styles of the past 250 years. After lunch we visit the beautiful town of Harrogate renowned for its floral beauty and elegant spa buildings.


Day 4:   After departing our hotel we return home stopping at Chesterfield for lunch, arriving in your local areas early evening.
